Financial Planning Support Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to provide support to senior financial planners. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing comprehensive financial plans and recommendations, conducting product comparisons and strategy modelling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored financial strategies for clients in collaboration with senior planners.
  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be expected to adapt to new software and technology, with training provided.
