Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems, including complex mechanical systems and prototypes.
- Collaborate with project managers to determine project requirements and ensure coherence.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform design and production trials, and participate in design reviews.
- Review and approve documentation for quality and safety.
- Conduct research to inform design and engineering methods required for mechanical systems.
- Plan and execute mechanical designs using CAD and other programs.
- Perform computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine designs.
- Document the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
- Prepare technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Experience in local construction industry and water and waste treatment plants is an advantage.
- Expertise in mechanical design and control systems, design and build, pipe computation, and pump design.
- Strong knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
The successful candidate will work on-site in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, with a working schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
