Job Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Sales Training Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales training programs aimed at enhancing the performance of our sales team within the food and beverage industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales training, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the food and beverage market. This role requires an individual passionate about continuous learning and driving the success of a sales team through targeted and impactful training initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales training programs that equip the sales team with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the food and beverage sector.
  • Create and maintain onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they understand the company's products, sales processes, and customer service standards.
  • Enhance sales skills by focusing on product knowledge, negotiation, customer relationship management, and closing techniques.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust training materials accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor in-house trainers and sales team members, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver impactful training.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align training efforts with business objectives and gather feedback to refine training programs.
  • Maintain product knowledge mastery and provide in-depth training on product features, benefits, and the food and beverage market.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure the sales team has access to up-to-date sales tools, resources, and materials, including developing sales aids, training guides, and e-learning modules.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive landscape to incorporate relevant insights into training programs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Experience: 8 years in FMCG sales.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
    • Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
    • Experience with training tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
    • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including products, customer preferences, and market trends.
    • Ability to analyze sales performance data and use it to inform training strategies.
