Overview:

Dive into the dynamic world of automotive essentials as our next Warehouse Assistant, where managing an exciting inventory of lubricants, tires, tubes, flaps, and equipment is just the beginning of your adventure. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in various areas, including inventory management, order fulfillment, quality checking, safety and cleanliness, team collaboration, documentation and record keeping, supply chain coordination, staff leadership and development, and standard operating procedures adherence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in inventory management and audit
  • Support order fulfillment and quality checking
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the warehouse
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Document and record keeping
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team
  • Develop and lead staff members
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Achieve deadlines and targets

Requirements:

  • Holder of a business-related college degree or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience in the field or similar
  • Computer literate, especially in using email and MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Communication Skills: will need to speak with coworkers on a regular basis
  • Leadership Skills: will need to motivate employees, keep them on track with task targets, and resolve conflicts as well
  • Critical-Thinking Skills: will need to devise plans of action and assess those plans regularly
  • Organizational Skills: will need to efficiently manage multiple orders, different timelines, various people, and movement of items
  • Problem-Solving Skills: will need to be ready when problems arise, or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen
  • Must familiarize with products being handled
