Medical Coding Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled medical coder to join our team. As a key member of operations, you will be responsible for abstracting patient charts and assigning appropriate diagnostic codes in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:
  • Abstract patient charts and assign accurate diagnostic codes according to productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Synthesize important information from patient records and assign/review medical codes for accuracy.
  • Ensure assigned codes meet federal regulations to obtain timely payments.
  • Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements.
  • Update skills and knowledge levels according to CMS-approved (AHA and AMA) coding changes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Active CPC/CPC-A license or any coding license with/without experience.
  • Accepts Non-Medical Allied graduates; college undergraduates accepted as long as they are AAPC/AHIMA Licensed.
