Job Title: Radiology Imaging Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Radiology Imaging Coordinator is responsible for managing the incoming client exams in a PACS/Clario RIS system to facilitate timely and efficient report dictation by radiologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage worklists and filters within ESR using established guidelines.
  • Dispatch exams to meet designated turnaround times.
  • Facilitate communication between referring physicians, technologists, and radiologists.
  • Triage multiple chats and document all communications on individual exams as necessary.
  • Utilize multiple systems to obtain additional information on exams.
  • Track and notate procedures, preliminary reports, meetings, conferences, and downtimes for radiologists.
  • Merge patient accounts as needed.
  • Ensure radiologists have all required electronic paperwork for each exam.
  • Monitor and respond to emails consistently.
  • Assist with electronically viewing previous reports.
  • Assign peer reviews daily to radiologists.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Healthcare BPO industry.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Honest, pleasant manner and good personal hygiene.
