Trading Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Trading Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities, including monitoring open positions, overseeing market making bots, and identifying potential issues.


About the Role
  • Monitor and manage open positions across spot and futures markets during designated hours.
  • Oversee the performance of market making bots, verifying correct order placements and tracking executions.
  • Identify and escalate any system errors, unexpected PnL swings, or exchange disconnects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the core trading/engineering team to resolve anomalies and ensure seamless trading operations.
  • Maintain risk limits and exposure within agreed parameters, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of trading fundamentals, including order books, spreads, liquidity, and hedging.
  • Possess basic technical literacy, enabling the reading of logs, interpretation of error messages, and navigation of trading dashboards.
  • Showcase experience in crypto trading or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in trading operations, preferably in a crypto trading environment.
  • Strong understanding of trading principles, including risk management and market analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues promptly.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms, systems, and tools, including market making bots.
