Truck Fleet Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our truck fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize truck deployment, reduce downtime, and improve overall fleet efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including truck availability, maintenance status, and performance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other operational teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Schedule and coordinate truck deployments, ensuring timely delivery of goods and efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance fleet operations.
  • Act as primary point of contact for truck-related issues within the operation, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation (at least 2-3 years, with team management experience)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks based on operational demand.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in transportation, with commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
