Job Title: Operations Head

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in the operations department. As an Operations Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operational performance of the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct oversight of all ongoing projects to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.

  • Conducting regular site visits to check quality of work, progress, and adherence to schedules.

    ">

  • Resolving project-related concerns and bottlenecks in coordination with project engineers and site managers.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • ">

  • Supervising the monitoring and safekeeping of construction tools, equipment, and materials in the site warehouse.

    ">

  • Ensuring proper inventory control, accountability, and preventive maintenance of company assets.

    ">

  • Implementing efficient systems for tracking usage, minimizing losses, and extending asset life.

    ">

  • Coordinating with the purchasing team on the timely sourcing and delivery of materials.

    ">

  • Verifying quantities and specifications of purchased items to align with project needs.

    ">

  • Overseeing the dispatching and scheduling of company deliveries, heavy equipment, and transport requirements to avoid delays.

    ">

  • Supervising the motorpool team to ensure availability, efficiency, and proper maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment.

    ">

  • Monitoring fuel, repairs, and utilization to optimize costs.

    ">

  • Coordination equipment allocation across projects based on demand and urgency.

You will also act as the escalation point for operational issues involving engineers, purchasing, HR, warehouse, or motorpool.

As an Operations Head, you will provide quick, practical solutions to ensure smooth operations and project continuity.

You will lead coordination meetings with department heads to align priorities and resolve conflicts.

Finally, you will mentor and guide project engineers, warehouse staff, and operations team leaders.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

    ">

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

    ">

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, logistics, and heavy equipment operations.

    ">

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    ">

  • Problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach to operations.
