DevOps Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled individual to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
  • Evaluate and recommend high availability and disaster recovery strategies in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment strategies and resolve build/deployment issues.
  • Maintain and improve logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance procedures in CI/CD and infrastructure operations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and concepts.
  • Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking, system administration, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a high-availability or production-critical environment.
