Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in image processing, 3D modeling, and precision formatting for laser engraving systems. As a 3D Image Conversion Specialist, you will be responsible for converting 2D images into 3D point cloud models with raised facial features, enhancing image clarity and contrast, ensuring compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats, scaling and aligning models to match crystal dimensions, and performing quality checks to deliver engraving-ready files for production.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling Software: Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender, MeshLab, or equivalent.
  • Point Cloud Generation and Manipulation: Ability to generate and manipulate point clouds effectively.
  • Familiarity with Laser Engraving: Understanding of subsurface laser engraving or similar precision manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet formatting specifications.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage multiple image conversions efficiently.
