Medical Transcription Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to assist us in the transcription of live patient calls and dictations from clients in the field of Dermatology.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening and comprehension skills, as well as strong typing abilities (55 WPM with 95% accuracy). Experience in medical terminology and dermatology transcription is highly desirable.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Transcribing live patient calls and taking dictations from clients
  • Converting audio files and uploading them to our system
  • Ensuring timely completion of transcriptions within 24 hours of receipt
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy in transcription, aiming for 98-100%
  • Proofreading all transcriptions prior to finalizing and entering data in EMR Visit Note
  • Entering data in EMR Visit Note once proofreading is completed

Requirements include a Medical Allied Graduate degree, at least one year's experience in Dermatology Transcription, and good attention to detail. Additionally, you should have a typing speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy and possess good listening, comprehension, and research skills. Knowledge of medical terminologies and the ability to focus and concentrate with minimal distractions are also essential.
