Optimize Supply Chain Operations

The Demand Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, accurately forecasting demand, and aligning supply chain operations to meet customer needs efficiently. Effective forecasting enables organizations to make informed decisions, drive revenue growth, and reduce stockouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze consumption data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts. Utilize historical data, seasonal patterns, and external factors to create reliable forecasting models.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and preventing stockouts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of inventory management strategies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory flow. Develop strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and improve overall supply chain resilience.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for improvement. Leverage data analytics tools to optimize forecasting accuracy and inform business decisions.
  • Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and inventory management efficiency. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in Demand Forecasting and/or Inventory Management. Proven track record of delivering accurate forecasts and driving business results.
  • Background in Engineering or Business related courses. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in ERP Solutions(e.g. Net Suite, ARIBA, etc) is an advantage. Familiarity with data analytics tools and supply chain software can be beneficial.
