Dynamic Motion Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Motion Designer to join our team and contribute their skills in creating captivating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects. This role will support the video production team, assist with animations, and help enhance various creative projects.

This is a full-time remote position that requires 9 AM - 5 PM PST (with some flexibility +/- 2-3 hours depending on preference after ramping up) schedule. To succeed in this role, you should be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender for advanced motion graphics is a plus. Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, and Dropbox is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging motion graphics, including titles, supers, explainer animations, and social content
  • Translate storyboards and creative direction into compelling motion graphics
  • Add life to static designs using kinetic typography, transitions, animated infographics, and character rigging when needed
  • Enhance videos with sound design, background audio, and integrated visual effects to elevate narrative engagement
  • Work with pre-created assets to add motion and animation, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of motion design experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of design principles (composition, color theory, typography)
  • Ability to work with keyframes, null objects, After Effects scripting, compositing, and 3D space
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to take feedback, and implement revisions efficiently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
