Job Title: Motion Graphics Specialist

This is a remote role that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. However, please note that there may be occasions when you will need to attend company events or client visits in person.

Our team provides technical support, community management, and trust & safety services for AAA and indie studios in the gaming industry.

Role Overview

As a senior motion graphics specialist, you will create engaging video content and design assets for various media. You will collaborate with a team of creatives, designers, and motion artists, supporting our goals. You may also lead a team of designers and motion artists.

We are looking for someone with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software. They should be self-critical, able to address feedback constructively, and willing to learn from each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design visually stunning motion graphics for various media, meeting client requirements.
  • Perform basic edit tasks and create rough sound beds for edit projects as needed.
  • Create graphical templates for use by other artists and for delivery to clients.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead a team of designers and motion artists, ensuring successful project execution based on project size.
  • Support the strategic development of the Motion team, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Offer advice on design, edit, and motion elements during the ideation process.
Project Management and Analytics
  • Take initiative on projects to deliver innovative solutions, staying up-to-date with software advancements and the latest motion graphics techniques.
  • Collect and compile project files efficiently upon delivery to ensure organized and accessible project documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in motion graphics.
  • Strong experience with design and editing.
  • Extended knowledge and technical ability of relevant software, including Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
  • A strong understanding of capabilities and integrations with other software, such as Da Vinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Maya, etc.
  • A strong portfolio of motion graphics work and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Experience managing other designers and motion artists.
  • High-level visual and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great organization skills and effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong collaborative skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at multiple seniority levels.
  • A continuous desire to learn new techniques and technology.
