Financial Management Role

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Financial Manager. This role will involve overseeing daily financial transactions, data entry, and reconciliation tasks using Xero.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate data entry in Xero.
  • Process invoices, receipts, supplier payments, and subcontractor claims efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and ledgers on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll, and superannuation contributions accurately.
  • Track project expenses and provide assistance with job costing as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records at all times.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Xero and related accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting practices, GST, and BAS regulations.
  • Experience handling payroll and superannuation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
