High Resolution 3D Imaging Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D image conversion specialist to lead the transformation of high-resolution 2D portrait images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models for precision manufacturing applications.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of image processing, 3D modeling, and formatting specifications for laser engraving systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert 2D images (JPEG/PNG) into 3D point cloud models with raised facial features (bas-relief effect)
- Enhance image clarity and contrast to optimize depth and detail in final output
- Ensure compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats (e.g., OBJ)
- Scale and align models to match crystal dimensions (e.g., 5cm cube)
- Perform quality checks and deliver engraving-ready files for production
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, MeshLab, or equivalent)
- Experience with point cloud generation and manipulation
- Familiarity with precision manufacturing processes and lasers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet formatting specifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple image conversions efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of bas-relief modeling techniques
- Experience in image enhancement and depth mapping
- Understanding of OBJ file structure and compatibility standards
- Experienced with Point Cloud Library in converting images
