Job Description

Civil Engineers design, develop and manage infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, canals, buildings, and other structures. They must balance aesthetic appeal with functional needs.

  • Work with architects, structural engineers and construction managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the required quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Previous exposure to Australian projects is highly desirable.
  • Diverse experience working on energy projects is preferred.
  • Proven experience in design, analysis and delivery of civil and structural works in energy projects (renewables, transmission, substations, hydrogen, oil & gas, or power generation).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and regulations.
  • High level communication, interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Advanced initiative and ability to solve problems.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d).
