Job Summary

The Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of building construction projects. This role ensures that construction activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Project Engineer will assist in supervising site operations, managing technical issues, and coordinating with project stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and plans for building construction projects.
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day site construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Track project progress, prepare reports, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Support in the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and contract administration.
  • Identify and help resolve technical and operational challenges during construction.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in site engineering, preferably in building construction projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with construction management software.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
