Technical Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Network Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking and a strong understanding of network principles, protocols, and satellite communication systems.

This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of support services to customers, focusing on network installation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with installers and project managers on network implementation
  • Addressing concerns of newly onboarded properties during installation
  • Performing post-install checks and following up with installers on missing or failed items
  • Monitoring completion of post-install checks and identifying training or installation processes that need improvement
  • Ensuring all tools are available and accessible for property staff
  • Working with field technicians to troubleshoot installation-related issues
  • Coordinating and scheduling training with property staff for site dashboard and conference tool (if applicable)

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience with networking
  • Proficiency in configuring layer 2 devices (e.g., VLANs, WLANs)
  • Ability to subnet in layer 3

Additional skills preferred but not required include:

  • Experience with satellite television
  • CCNA certification

Certifications required include:

  • Meraki ECMS Certification (mandatory upon hiring)

Customer service experience and strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
