Technical Support Specialist

The role involves researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues in an accurate and timely manner. Working with different systems, software, and hardware requires following standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level customer service, including technical support and resolution
  • Respond to technical queries from customer-facing teams, providing training and documentation as needed
  • Manage phone and email support, as well as ticket and SLA management
  • Perform maintenance tasks and routine system checks
  • Escalate issues to level 3 technical support and/or management when necessary

System Configuration and Desktop Support

  • Involve understanding of software code and data structures
  • Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems for end-users
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, VoIP devices, printing/scanning devices, software, and other products
  • Manage and administer desktop tools

Additional Requirements

  • Ideal candidate is a college graduate with a degree in computer science or a related field
  • Full-time home-based work, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Minimum internet speed of 10 Mbps (DSL or FIBR)
  • Good and quiet working environment conducive to productive work

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and equipment support experience
  • Application/system maintenance activities

Location and Schedule

Work at the comforts of your home, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
