Policy and Compliance Manager

This role serves as the centralized curator and coordinator of all organizational policies and procedures across all departments and functions, ensuring current and compliant practices with applicable standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures Management & Compliance
    • Maintain an indexed master library of current policies and archived versions.
    • Track review cycles (e.g., annual, biennial) and coordinate timely updates and re-approvals.
    • Ensure all policies reflect current practices and are compliant with laws, regulations, and accrediting standards.
  • Policy Development & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Draft new policies based on leadership directives or changes in regulatory requirements.
    • Proactively follow up with team members for feedback and incorporate suggested changes.
  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight
    • Maintain a calendar of required reports for licensing, funding, and accreditation entities.
    • Coordinate report generation and submission with assigned departments.
  • Governance & Compliance Meetings
    • Schedule compliance, quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management meetings.
    • Create agendas and track attendance.
  • Policy Inquiry Response & Gap Resolution
    • Provide accurate responses to internal questions regarding existing policies and procedures.
    • Identify gaps in documentation and draft new policies when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy management within a healthcare or behavioral health organization.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across teams.
