Software Development and Cybersecurity Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development and Cybersecurity Professional to drive innovation in our global agile team. As a critical member of our IT team, you will play a key role in driving innovation in cybersecurity, software development, and big data technology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving the overall platform architecture and performance, including the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.

You will collaborate with security analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, develop and maintain integrations, playbooks, and automations to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities, and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and automations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions to automate security processes.
  • Collaborate with security analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, playbooks, and automations to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities.
  • Contribute to improving the overall platform architecture and performance, including the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.
Qualifications:

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

  • 3+ years of Python development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in OOP and Restful APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience in Gitlab CI/CD, including building and managing automated pipelines for software deployments.
  • 2+ years of experience in Server Administration, including running command-line interface (CLI) commands on servers to efficiently troubleshoot application or connectivity.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems.

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

  • Familiarity with SOAR systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminologies.
  • Solid grasp of networking principles and firewall technologies.
  • Experience with mob programming practices.
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Understanding of containerization concepts and tools such as Docker, and their role in application deployment and management.
