About Our Team
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Credentialing Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with experience in administrative support, particularly within a healthcare setting or regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:Credentialing Support: Manage all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process, including applications, primary source verification, and database maintenance with accuracy and attention to detail.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards, serving as a key point of contact for inquiries and processes related to credentialing.
Privileging and Onboarding: Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
Reporting and Process Improvement: Generate credentialing reports, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.
Adaptable Responsibilities: As our organization grows and evolves, the responsibilities of this role may adapt and change to meet the evolving needs of the company.
You will thrive in this role if you are a proactive team player with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in administrative processes. Ideally, you have 1-3 years of relevant experience and a foundational understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows.
Experience: A background in administrative support, preferably in a healthcare setting or regulated environment.
Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Administrative Acumen: A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation and data. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in healthcare credentialing standards and compliance.
Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
Process Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.
Communication & Collaboration: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
