Senior Web Engineer Position

We're seeking a Senior Web Engineer to join our team, bringing best practices and great ideas to drive technical conversations.

  • This role involves identifying risks, communicating them to relevant stakeholders, and asking the right questions to move projects forward.
  • You'll own the development of large projects, encouraging rigorous and efficient engineering processes.
  • Your responsibilities will include writing specifications, understanding risks, reducing complexity, and taking on technical lead responsibilities.
  • You should be passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies, representing your team as a subject matter expert with cross-team credibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you'll need:

  • A strong academic track record from high school and university.
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an alternative path with a compelling narrative.
  • Exceptional soft skills, including being passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to deliver results on schedule.
  • Proficiency in professional written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • A result-oriented approach, with a personal drive to meet commitments.
  • Ability to travel twice a year for company events.
