Accountant Role

This role is responsible for accounting and financial procedures.

Job Description:

The primary focus of this position will be to ensure the accuracy of financial data and statements. This includes preparation of monthly close packages, review of journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.

  • Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections.
  • Perform tasks associated with the general ledger, (i.e., enters monthly journal entries).
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts.

Additional responsibilities include assisting on quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors and preparing monthly BS & P/L Fluxes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

For this role we are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of General Ledger experience.

  • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange required.
  • NetSuite experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.
