Develop Automation Expert

The role involves developing test automation scripts to speed up delivery of testing milestones while maintaining high quality standards.
This is an external contractor position with project-based engagements, allowing for opportunities to continue working on various projects or through extensions based on organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, execute and maintain automated tests across application layers (UI, API) using automation tools and scripting languages.
- Create reusable and scalable automation test components.
- Perform automated regression, smoke, functional and end-to-end testing.
- Implement parallel and scheduled test execution strategies.
- Monitor, analyze and report automation test results.
- Identify and resolve failed tests by debugging and tracing root causes.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing and development.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in software QA automation.
- Proficiency in UI automated test development using Selenium.
- Expertise in C# programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and best practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing repositories, configuring pipelines, and executing tests.
- Proven ability to convert manual test cases into automation test scripts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in C# programming language.
