Job Overview:

A seasoned finance expert is needed to oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple entities.

This role requires someone who can manage day-to-day activities while driving process improvements as the organization expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end close for multiple entities.
  • Prepare and file multi-state sales taxes. Compute sales commissions and ensure accuracy/timeliness.
  • Process payroll bi-monthly. Issue timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable clerks. Maintain reconciliations (bank, credit card, accruals, deposits).
  • Participate in leadership meetings and maintain company scorecard metrics.
  • Oversee compliance filings. Support lender and bank communications.
  • Drive process improvement in NetSuite, especially around landed cost postings and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Strong Controller/Accounting Manager experience (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in NetSuite (hands-on, not just end-user).
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Hands-on reconciliation and close process expertise.
  • Comfort managing multiple entities.
