Price Analyst Role

This position involves analyzing prices and generating analysis to optimize product pricing strategies.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze, recommend, implement, and promote price changes while maximizing gross profit.
  • Create financial models to calculate and forecast the impact of price changes on revenue and gross margin.
  • Collect competitive and internal pricing data as needed.
  • Examine the effects of pricing changes, product updates, discounts, promotions, and other sales and marketing activities.
  • Communicate effectively regarding project objectives, status, barriers, and results to peers in the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical field, preferably with expertise in analyzing prices and generating analysis based on gathered data for pricing, product management, and shipping concepts.
  • Ability to work with large datasets.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Creative and innovative thinker capable of translating complex ideas into actionable strategies.
