Key Responsibilities

  1. Material Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  • Sourcing materials and equipment for power engineering projects in the Philippines and surrounding regions
  • Developing suppliers and conducting qualification reviews
  • Executing the full international procurement process (requirement confirmation, bidding/quotation comparison, contract negotiation, order tracking, quality inspection)
Logistics and Warehouse Coordination
  • Maintaining oversight of international transportation (ocean freight/air freight/land transport)
  • Implementing and supervising warehouse management at project sites
Cross-department Collaboration
  • Collaborating with design, construction, and other departments to align material supply with project timelines
  • Addressing emergencies (such as delivery delays or quality issues) and developing contingency plans

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Professional Skills
  • More than 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in the power industry
  • Familiarity with power equipment (e.g., substations, transmission and distribution equipment) and relevant technical standards (IEC/ANSI/Philippine local standards)
  • Proficient in using office software
Language and Communication
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), capable of using it as a working language
  • Excellent negotiation skills and cross-cultural communication abilities
Other Requirements
  • Familiarity with local supplier resources and transportation channels in the Philippines is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to short-term business trips or on-site project assignments
