We are seeking a skilled Junior Data Analyst to join our technology team. This role involves working closely with the Analytics Lead and other team members to transform operational data into actionable insights that empower both our internal stakeholders and our clients.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to use their skills to drive business optimization and enable us to deliver more value for our clients. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing first line support to internal clients, gathering requirements for data analysis and reporting, querying and investigating databases to answer stakeholders' questions and addressing data issues, generating reports and dashboards, and supporting other Analysts to enhance data accessibility and clarity.

  • You will spend the majority of your time on gathering data and reporting requirements.
  • You will work directly with internal teams and clients to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be part of the first line support, which means you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure they have access to the information they need. You will also be responsible for identifying areas where data can be improved and implementing solutions to address these gaps.

Key Stakeholders
  • Clients - You will report on the value delivered to them.
  • Product operations and technology instrumentation - You will work with these teams to develop new solutions and improve existing ones.
  • Global delivery operations and instrumentation - You will collaborate with these teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  • Product Owner – Business Intelligence - You will work closely with this team to develop and maintain business intelligence solutions.
  • Engineering, UX, and Data Science Teams - You will collaborate with these teams to develop and implement new solutions.
  • Brand Protection Experts - You will work with these experts to develop and implement solutions that protect brands from infringement and counterfeiting.
Essential Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent data analysis skills, including experience with SQL coding (JOINS, CASE statements, basic window functions) and data modeling skills. You should also have experience with BI tools like PowerBI (including DAX and Power Query). Additionally, you will need strong interpersonal skills, the ability to translate complex data tables into actionable, digestible information, curiosity and desire to learn, and the ability to interact with data in application data stores and data warehouses.
