We are seeking a highly motivated Loan Settlements Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our Credit, Sales and Operations teams as well as brokers and clients directly, to provide support throughout the settlement and repayment of loans. Key responsibilities include ensuring all supporting documentation is collected and meets the requirements specified by our Credit Policy, accurately preparing loan document instructions to be issued to panel lawyers for funding and loan discharges, and keeping internal systems and tools up to date with progress throughout the settlements pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to repayment, excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a loan admin or settlements role (ideally)
  • Experience and an understanding of loan servicing and collections
  • Good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to settlement
  • Tenacious attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results and owning your area of the business
