We're seeking an Employee Rewards Consultant to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in driving talent acquisition, retention and motivation through competitive and responsive compensation programs.

Job Description

The Employee Rewards Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying tools, processes and consulting around all enterprise-wide and/or customer compensation programs. This includes collaborating with business leaders and Human Capital constituents to champion/ensure that compensation philosophy and best practices are integrated into Human Capital activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans to drive talent acquisition, retention and motivation through competitive and responsive compensation programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current best practices in the compensation field and provide ongoing training and education on compensation-related tools/processes/issues to applicable audiences.
  • Provide recommendations to support development/revision of Compensation strategies and manage/support Common Review and other Core Process activities.
  • Ensure that an enterprise-wide perspective is used across job families/functions when utilizing/analyzing compensation-related data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management, wellbeing programs.
  • Familiarity with creating performance-based incentive programs and employee recognition initiatives that drive motivation and engagement.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful total rewards strategies and programs.
