Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to serve as a Business Partner, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our HR office. This individual will administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will manage overall HR facets, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Oversees the hiring process for qualified job applicants, collaborating with hiring units to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Implements on-boarding and training programs for HR personnel under their responsibility.
  • Performs routine supervision required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, as well as complex and/or sensitive matters involving the unit/facet.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Experience in performance management
  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or multiple facets of HR
