Accountant Role Overview

This is a hands-on accountancy position that involves managing day-to-day transactional finance processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in finance, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Key responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, VAT preparation and month-end reconciliations, and assisting the Financial Controller with various finance-related projects and reporting tasks. The role requires strong working knowledge of accounting principles and month-end/year-end processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, while experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience within a finance function
  • Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of data privacy and financial compliance standards
