Job Summary

Simplify risk management software by contributing to a remote team as a Senior Platform Engineer. The role involves designing, deploying and managing scalable Kubernetes clusters.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, multi-node Kubernetes clusters on-premises, AWS EKS, or Azure AKS.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and other relevant tools.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, resilience, and high availability, supporting auto-scaling where applicable.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams for fast and reliable deployment cycles.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues with IT and Support teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration (CKA or similar certifications are a plus).
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions.
  • Helm charts and package management.
  • Monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Scripting (Bash, Python).
  • Linux system administration.
