Job Summary

  • Design and implement robust database systems that cater to diverse user needs, focusing on high availability, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Determine optimal data distribution parameters to ensure timely delivery of relevant data to authorized users.
  • Maintain high-performance transaction recovery techniques and regular backups to minimize database downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Implement proactive and reactive data management strategies, providing training and support to stakeholders as needed.
  • Enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards, while monitoring performance and applying necessary patches and upgrades.
  • Evaluate database security, privacy, and integrity regularly through rigorous testing and assessments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle Database, Hadoop, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
