At Outsource Broker Support, we are seeking a talented Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring quality throughout the full development lifecycle of our technology platform. This requires a combination of expertise in test engineering and quality assurance as well as collaboration and communication skills.

You'll be working directly with the Test Lead, Quality Engineers, Product Owners, Salesforce Developers, and Business Analysts. You will assist with providing quality assurance and testing across the Salesforce platform and integration with external systems like AWS. We are looking for someone who has experience testing integrations between CRM platforms and external cloud ecosystems like AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Business teams to get a good understanding of the business and products.
  • Work in an Agile environment and contribute effectively to various Scrum ceremonies.
  • Write test scripts with detailed preconditions, test steps, and expected outcomes for user stories, production faults, integration scenarios, and regression.
  • Understand Acceptance Criteria and apply effective testing techniques to create test scripts.
  • Implement and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright for functional UI and API testing to support regression testing.
  • Write BDD-style test cases using the Given-When-Then format.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases for various levels of testing.
  • Report findings and raise defects for deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Work with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence) and test tools to track issues and document testing activities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Champion QA processes and support continuous improvements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in software quality assurance methodologies to ensure our team remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and at least 1 year in test automation and test engineering.
  • A keen eye for quality and a willingness to learn how to implement efficient testing processes for CRM SaaS applications.
  • A good understanding of CRM ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or similar) and experience testing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience testing integrations between CRM platforms and external cloud ecosystems like AWS or Azure, ensuring seamless data flow, API reliability, and system interoperability.
  • Experience writing testing steps, expected results, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Some experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Postman, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
  • Experience in creating automated tests in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • An understanding of testing fundamentals, various techniques, and methodologies and knowing when to apply them.
  • Effectiveness in reporting findings and collaborating with the team to triage defects.
  • Experience working with the Atlassian suite of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience working with test management tools like Zephyr and XRay to manage test cases, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to work remotely, be accountable for delivery, and communicate proactively.
