">Key Responsibilities
">Your primary responsibility will be to develop the essential pre-design deliverables that set the foundation for every project. This includes:
">- Developing Pre-Design Deliverables: Creating key pre-design documents, including the Survey Base Sheet, Inventory Base Sheet, Proposed Base Sheet, and Inventory Proposed Base Sheet.
- Drafting Schematic Designs: Using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator to draft schematic designs.
- Drafting Preliminary Designs: Assisting in drafting preliminary designs, ensuring that the designs reflect our client's vision while maintaining functionality, aesthetic appeal, and feasibility.
- Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance: Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet local codes and regulations.
- Collaborating and Refining Designs: Actively collaborating with team members to refine designs.
- Updating Drafts: Updating drafts based on feedback and revisions from the design team.
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Design Software: A strong command of AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software is essential.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy is critical.
- Understanding of Landscape Architecture Principles: A foundational knowledge of landscape architecture principles.
- Self-Sufficiency and Deadline Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
">A degree in Landscape Architecture or related field and experience in residential landscape architecture would be beneficial. Knowledge of Florida's native plants and climate conditions is also desirable.
