Landscape Architect Design Officer (Residential): A licensed landscape architect with experience in Landscape Design, Planning, and Project Supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Planning: can conceptualize and design outdoor spaces and create visual representations and layouts using, but not limited to, computer aided applications and software, and provide cost estimates.
  2. Environment Analysis: can analyze environmental reports and consider factors like drainage, energy usage, and sustainable design
  3. Material Selection: able to select and recommend appropriate landscaping materials and plant selection that are functional, cost effective, aesthetically pleasing, and maintenance friendly
  4. Project Supervision: able to review plans, estimates, supervise and coordinate with consultants and contractors, and oversee progress of landscape projects.
  5. Sustainability: able to provide recommendations on conservation and sustainability and ensure design compliance with relevant code regulations and policies.
  6. Budget Management: ensuring projects adhere to approved budget and timelines

Qualifications:

  • graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture
  • With at least 5 years experience in Landscape Design, Planning, and Project Supervision.
  • Knowledge and experience in horticulture is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
