Job Title: Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist is to ensure the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex mechanical equipment and systems in industrial settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
    • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and machinery to detect potential issues or abnormal conditions.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:
    • Diagnose mechanical problems using technical manuals, engineering drawings, and diagnostic tools.
    • Repair or replace defective components such as motors, bearings, seals, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and fans.
  • Installation and Support:
    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and mechanical equipment.
    • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including time spent, parts used, and observations made.
    • Report recurring equipment issues and suggest proactive solutions to management.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Prior experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or building maintenance setting, is highly desirable.

Key Requirements:
  • Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
