Project Talent Acquisition Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and its unique HR challenges. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of human resources and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Acquisition and Development:
    1. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify staffing needs for each project phase.
    2. Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles, including skilled labor, engineers, project managers, and staff.
    3. Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the project team.
  2. Employee Relations and Support:
    1. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflicts, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
    2. Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee morale and engagement, such as organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
    3. Address disciplinary issues promptly and fairly, adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
  3. Performance Management and Improvement:
    1. Contribute to the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
    2. Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and developing strategies for employee improvement.
  4. HR Data Management and Reporting:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and performance evaluations.
    2. Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and compliance status.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles within the construction industry or a similar field.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the construction industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Critical thinking abilities and the capacity to handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Williness to relocate anywhere in the country.
