Accounting Manager Position

The ideal candidate will possess both excellent analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to efficiently analyze financial reports and forecasts.

  • Analyze financial data and create reports on financial status
  • Review and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Prepare timely and accurate accounting reports for executives and senior management
  • Participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial statement organization
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or Senior Accountant
  • Profound experience with typical accounting procedures
  • Good experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Practical experience with accounting software packages
  • Understanding of financial accounting statements and business trends
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant certifications such as CMA or CPA
