Are you a seasoned bookkeeper looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.

About the Role

This is a senior level position responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. You will be working closely with other departments to ensure proper financial recording and reporting.

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior bookkeepers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping.
  • Xero Certification required.
  • Personal Tax Return and BAS Preparation experience desirable.
