Design Lead Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled senior UI/UX designer to lead a diverse range of website and design projects. As a key member of our team, you will own projects from initial strategy and UX through to polished execution and delivery.

  • Be the lead designer, setting the standard for all website and design projects.
  • Manage end-to-end website redesigns (primarily WordPress, sometimes Webflow)
  • Deliver polished, high-performing web design solutions with best-practice UX/UI
  • Balance hands-on design work with guiding the project direction and supporting the team when needed
  • Work closely with developers to ensure smooth design-to-build handover

For this role, we require 5+ years experience in an advertising agency, creative studio, or media organization with a focus on design implementation for diverse clients and styles. Proven UX research & strategy experience is required, as well as understanding of content marketing design principles. Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Business Suite is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive project management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize time for yourself and a team to meet deadlines
  • Experience in brand design and uplift (style guides, visual guidelines)
  • A proactive 'doer' focused on execution and genuinely creative with a wealth of ideas

This mid-senior level position works remotely with approximately ~48 hours/month. The starting salary is $600+, with opportunity to grow to full-time by July or August based on performance.
