Job Overview

The position of Cloud Infrastructure Engineer entails designing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for state management and version control.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for automated infrastructure deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Deploy and manage VPN servers for secure remote access in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Implement and manage authentication and access controls, including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, and identity federation integrated with cloud IAM.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance issues and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in technology environments with enterprise-scale infrastructure support.
  • Deep understanding of Java-based applications and enterprise-scale system deployment models.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Expertise in Terraform, GitLab, and authentication and access control mechanisms.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM policies, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure security.
  • Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to performance and reliability improvements.
