Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to handle data analysis and scientific modeling, focusing on business performance forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models to forecast sales, profitability, and inventory needs for multiple periods.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze internal data from APIs and QuickBooks, as well as external data on economic trends, market conditions, and consumer behavior.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify and interpret key trends and patterns in sales, seasonality, and customer preferences.
  • Algorithm Development: Create and refine algorithms to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and marketing campaigns.
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop custom dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to visualize predictive models and key metrics.
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in an e-commerce company.
    • Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for forecasting and predictive analysis.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis and machine learning tools like Python, R, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
