Dynamic Computer Science Educator Wanted

Proximity Learning is seeking a highly skilled Computer Science educator to inspire students in an online environment.
Develop Engaging Instructional Materials
- Create interactive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides.
- Utilize virtual tools to differentiate lessons, engage students, and deepen their understanding of the material.
Deliver Virtual Lessons and Provide Feedback
- Teach synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum).
- Evaluate and grade student work to track progress.
- Offer constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.
Represent the Organization's Mission
- Positively represent our organization's mission in all interactions.
Flexibility and Autonomy
- Remote teaching - no in-person commitments.
- Scheduling flexibility to fit individual needs.
Qualifications
- A valid US state-issued Computer Science teaching certification.
- Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of teaching experience.
