Ecommerce Manager Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to maintain and expand our online catalog of parts and diagrams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our website remains accurate, well-structured, and user-friendly for customers searching for the right parts by model, series, or brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Information Management: Analyze price books and parts manuals to identify and structure product information effectively.
  • Catalog Development: Add and update products and parts (up to 1,000+ per brand) into the system, ensuring seamless integration with interactive diagrams.
  • Model-Specific Pages: Create and manage model-specific pages, linking parts accurately to support enhanced customer navigation.
  • Categorization: Organize parts by brand, series, product type, and subcategories for easy filtering and sorting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand brand structure and technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in eCommerce product management, content management, or catalog maintenance.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and categorization skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in working with product databases, diagrams, and online catalogs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of B2B or hardware-related industries is beneficial.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work during EST hours.
