About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Category Manager to support the client's expanding catalog and advertising operations. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing product listings, resolving catalog issues, and ensuring accuracy across all platforms. Additionally, the Category Manager will play a key role in supporting brand managers by overseeing Amazon Advertising campaigns, managing a $30k monthly ad spend, and ensuring strategies drive measurable growth.
This position is ideal for a highly detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of Amazon's catalog systems, advertising tools, and best practices. You will work closely with leadership to streamline operations, free up brand managers' time, and implement improvements that directly contribute to the client's growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Listing & Variation Management: Creating, updating, and optimizing product listings and variations for accuracy and visibility
- Catalog Maintenance: Ensuring accurate, optimized, and compliant product listings for a healthy catalog.
- Listing Monitoring: Regularly reviewing active listings to identify errors, suppressions, or compliance issues.
- Case Management: Handling and resolving Amazon support cases to maintain smooth operations and compliance
- Data Accuracy: Ensuring product data, attributes, and backend keywords are consistent and aligned with Amazon standards.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving catalog-related problems such as variations, duplicates, or incorrect product details.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date internal catalog records.
Must-Have
Competencies and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing catalog uploads and listings on Amazon
- Deep knowledge of Amazon item setup and variation management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including managing large data sets and templates).
Nice-to-Have
- Proficient in Amazon Flat File
- Experience working with catalog maintenance in other marketplaces
- Experience in Amazon FBA Reimbursements
